Minh Hoang

September 13, 2017

Minh Hoang received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Northeastern University and Master of Public Health from Columbia University. Having both parents as pharmacists, Minh found her interest in pharmacy at a young age. However, her passion for ambulatory care and pharmacy administration developed during her clinical rotations and she was eager to start at a residency program with a strong focus on both.

During her PGY-1 year at PCHC, Minh really enjoyed the different learning experiences she got from rotating through 3 different clinics and the unique opportunity to perform home visits with the Transition of Care team. She also discovered her passion for homeless health and started a Diabetes Clinic at the Hope House Health and Living Center in Bangor. She looks forward to continuing to serve her community in the greater Bangor area and gaining additional leadership experiences in this upcoming year.

PCHC's twelve-month residency is specifically focused on increasing the clinical knowledge, skills, and experience of new family nurse practitioners, providing them with a positive transitional experience from school to practice, and an opportunity to fine-tune skills under the guidance of an experienced mentor.
