Kevin is originally from upstate New York, and received his Bachelor’s in Pharmacy Studies and Doctor of Pharmacy degrees from Northeastern University in Boston, MA. While at Northeastern, he developed a passion for helping underserved populations through independent community pharmacy and long term care experiences. On his clinical rotations, Kevin gained experience in ambulatory care, transitions of care, and interprofessional models of care. Kevin came to PCHC’s residency program excited to explore the multitude of ambulatory care opportunities available here.

Update from 2018:
This year has flown by, and I could not have asked for a better place to do my residency training. I have learned so much, both professionally and personally, and am so grateful to have had such amazing and welcoming coworkers and mentors. Although my residency project regarding outpatient management of venous thromboembolism did not pan out as originally intended, I still learned many valuable lessons about organizational and project management. I am glad that I was able to help PCHC combat Maine’s opioid epidemic by conducting Narcan and opioid overdose trainings both here at PCHC and for local community groups. I am happy to announce that I will be staying on here at PCHC initially in a per diem capacity, working in both the primary care clinics and outpatient pharmacies.

PCHC's twelve-month residency is specifically focused on increasing the clinical knowledge, skills, and experience of new family nurse practitioners, providing them with a positive transitional experience from school to practice, and an opportunity to fine-tune skills under the guidance of an experienced mentor.
