Update from 2018:
This year has flown by, and I could not have asked for a better place to do my residency training. I have learned so much, both professionally and personally, and am so grateful to have had such amazing and welcoming coworkers and mentors. Although my residency project regarding outpatient management of venous thromboembolism did not pan out as originally intended, I still learned many valuable lessons about organizational and project management. I am glad that I was able to help PCHC combat Maine’s opioid epidemic by conducting Narcan and opioid overdose trainings both here at PCHC and for local community groups. I am happy to announce that I will be staying on here at PCHC initially in a per diem capacity, working in both the primary care clinics and outpatient pharmacies.
