Andrew is originally from Austin, Texas. He received his Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Texas A&M University. He has 6 years of experience working in community pharmacy settings such as H-E-B and Walmart Pharmacy in Texas. He first developed an interest in pharmacy after working as a technician and building relationships with patients.  While on clinical rotations, he developed a passion for primary and ambulatory care pharmacy. His current areas of interest are diabetes, anticoagulation, and medication safety. After residency, he is interested in pursuing a career in Ambulatory Care and Academia. He is very excited about starting residency, building clinical knowledge, and exploring Maine.

PCHC's twelve-month residency is specifically focused on increasing the clinical knowledge, skills, and experience of new family nurse practitioners, providing them with a positive transitional experience from school to practice, and an opportunity to fine-tune skills under the guidance of an experienced mentor.
