Frank McGrady, PharmD, BCPS

Director of Pharmacy

Frank McGrady, PharmD, BCPS joined PCHC as the Director of Pharmacy in 2018. Prior to joining PCHC, Frank was an Assistant Professor of Pharmacy Practice and Director of the Office of Experiential Education (OEE) at Husson University’s School of Pharmacy in Bangor for six years.  As the Director of OEE, Frank traveled all over Maine to set up sites and develop relationships with preceptors for current and future pharmacy students. Frank was also the Director of Pharmacy at Sebasticook Valley Hospital in Pittsfield for thirteen years. While at SVH, Frank served as part of the Management Team, the Clinical Team, the EMHS Team, and all aspects of medications distribution and information.  Prior to working at SVH, Frank worked for Hannaford Bros Corp for twelve years in positions including New England Regional Pharmacy Manager (Pharmacy Specialist), during which time 15 new pharmacies were opened. Frank also worked as a Regional Support Pharmacist, and as a Pharmacy Manager.

Kristopher Ravin, PharmD

Operations Manager

Kristopher Ravin, PharmD has worked for PCHC since 2015 where he worked as an intern. He received his Doctorate of Pharmacy from Husson University in 2017 and then completed a PGY-1 and PGY-2 at PCHC in Community Pharmacy and Health Systems Pharmacy Administration. In 2019, after completing his PGY-2 stayed with PCHC as the Pharmacy Operations Manager. He also serves as the Director of Pharmacy for Community Care Partnership of Maine, the Accountable Care Organization which PCHC is a part of. During his time at PCHC, he has been involved in PCHC’s Controlled Substance Stewardship program and worked with the Schmidt Institute to expand this service across the State of Maine.

Meagan L.M. Rusby, PharmD

Residency Coordinator

Meagan Rusby, PharmD is a Maine native who has worked for Penobscot Community Health Care since 2016.  She received her Doctorate of Pharmacy from Husson University in 2016 and then completed a PGY-1 Community Pharmacy Residency and a PGY-2 Ambulatory Care Pharmacy Residency at PCHC.  In 2018, after completing her PGY-2 she stayed with PCHC as the Primary Care Pharmacist at Helen Hunt Health Center.  During her time at PCHC, she has worked to further integrate primary care pharmacy services, specifically assisting to expand pharmacist collaborative practice agreements within the organization.  She also currently serves as the non-faculty representative on Husson University’s Curricular Affairs Committee

PCHC's twelve-month residency is specifically focused on increasing the clinical knowledge, skills, and experience of new family nurse practitioners, providing them with a positive transitional experience from school to practice, and an opportunity to fine-tune skills under the guidance of an experienced mentor.
